Omg I finished A World Without Princes.
Such an amazing and wonderful book.
I cannot express the amazement I feel.
I read it in about three days.
IT’S SPOILER TIME, BECAUSE I ‘CANNOT EVEN’ FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE.
Never stop being perfect you goofy goofy girl. I really hope you become someone important, because you’re amazing.
Hester will never not look like a stereotypical rebel girl to me. In my mind. Yes.
Annadil, you remind me of Hortense from Matilda. Just sayin’.
Tedros. Tedros I am so glad you had an amazing break through. You still have a lot of growing to go through, but I am glad you got out okay with agatha.
SOPHIE. Boy Sophie is best Sophie, but poor thing :( it’s really not her fault this time for all the crap that went down. It’s sad really, but in one tiny sense, it is her fault for not trusting agatha as a friend. I hope that you somehow come around next time or something, because now you’re with sir creepy-pants school master and that just tells me you’re gonna become queen witch or something.
Agatha. Dear sweet girl. I loved you so much in the first book and in this one I felt like you were a chicken with it’s head cut off, trying to solve a mystery all by yourself. I am glad you have amazing friends from the witches, but I really wish that you used your old agatha sense to smell that something was wrong when the symptoms came so quickly to Sophie. I understand you were tired of her lies and betrayal, but this was indeed the one time you should have zapped the other villain. You didn’t trust your gut this time and that makes me worry.
I just hope you become someone worth while, still that sword wielding, gung-ho girl I admired from the beginning.
Lady Lesso, never stop being perfect, okay?
Good bye Tristan. I knew you were Yara when someone mentioned at the boys school that you were missing.
I’m so sorry Hort. Please become a terrifying Dragon that kills all. You’re such a dinkess, but you deserve better as captain hooks son.
Gosh this series. So many wonderful characters that I have come to cherish.
I almost hope that this series continues, because… gosh.
For such a dramatic ending, I feel there needs to be some kind of time skip to fix things.
Like, the revenge of witch queen Sophie or something.
All in all, I definitely want more things written by Soman Chainani, because wow, how do I thank you for such an incredible series?
imagine a video game where you create a hero whose destiny is to save everyone, but throughout the game you start making harder and more questionable decisions, and the game gets darker and darker. and in the end you’re just standing there, clutching the controller and finally realizing you were playing the villain all along
